Vocabulary: The First Key to Unlocking Complex Text

Words represent ideas and ideas are presented in complex texts. Students need to develop rich and extensive vocabularies to be able to read complex texts in the Common Core classroom. They need to read widely and deeply in texts that vary in ideas. In this interactive and engaging session, teachers will learn how to bolster the vocabulary learning and reading volume of their students.
