Related Services

Multnomah Education Service District provides a wide range of related services to students in need of specialized programs. Special Education Services assist schools in providing these essential services to students through our Speech and Language, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Assistive Technology, Nursing and Evaluation Programs.

Services Include:

• Student Assessments
• Provision of Assistance to Determine Eligibility
• Develop Individual Education Programs (IEP's)
• Provide Direct and Consultation Services to Students in a variety of Settings
• Develop Student Materials
• Provide Services to Families seeking Additional Supports within the Local Districts and Community
• Licensed and Certifies Staff Provide Consultation and Training to Administrative and Teaching Staff

The main purpose of each program is to help students develop skills needed to access and benefit from their educational programs and to provide or coordinate the location of needed services to support families and district staff members.
