nonprofits and government agencies.

The school districts in MESD's region are diverse and include inner
city, suburban and rural schools.Within these districts are about 160
schools with 90,000 students over a geographic area that stretches from
Portland's west hills to the foothills of the Cascades, and from the
Columbia River on the north to the Clackamas County line on the south. An
estimated population of 660,000 live in the Multnomah ESD district.
