Administrative and Support Services

The underpinnings of education rely on a solid core of technology, business services and a myriad of support programs. At MESD, we support learning, school health and educational improvement by bringing together partners to share resources.

Business Systems Support
MESD provides an extensive and integrated administrative financial and human resource computer system specifically for use in public schools.

Network Services
Wide area data networking support is provided in the form of communication lines, router maintenance, network management and connection to the Internet network.

Student Information Services
Student Services provides comprehensive computer services for administrative student applications. eSIS offers a district/web solution with access for administrators, teachers and professional staff concerned with the management of student records and the instructional process.

Substitute Teacher Registration/SubFinder
MESD provides verification of employment eligibility documents, registration of Teacher Standards and Practices Commission (TSPC) licenses, preparation of list of substitute teachers who have completed the registration process, and completion of PEER Forms necessary to assist substitute teachers in the renewal of their TSPC license.

Printing & Graphic Services
Printing and Graphic Services provides comprehensive reprographic services to the schools, educational organizations and MESD programs.

Cooperative Purchasing
The MESD Cooperative Purchasing program offers access to electronically-based vendor catalogs as well as more traditional bulk orders on a cyclic basis and a warehouse-based inventory of items available for purchase at any time of the year.

Business Services
MESD provides Business Management, Payroll, and Accounting services in accordance with negotiated agreements, district policies, federal and state laws, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
